This camp is for Wisconsin & Upper Michigan youth attending grades 6-8 in September. It provides positive outdoor experiences, fosters an appreciation for nature, and introduces a variety of conservation & natural resources careers. Topics include wildlife ecology, water quality, fisheries, outdoor skills, and 'camper's choice' activities, which campers choose at time of registration. Some examples of camper's choice activities include archery, outdoor first aid, wilderness survival skills, making nature print tee-shirts, challenge course, outdoor recreation safety, and kayaking.
$100 fee until May 18; after May 18 is $150. Cut-off date is June 1 and space is limited; registrations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration packet will be available by the end of February.
