The Crivitz Area Woman's Club was organized in 1975. It is one of the oldest service-oriented organizations in our community. Our membership is open to any person willing to give service and time as a volunteer to enhance our goals. The objective of this organization is to provide the betterment of the local and world community through service, charity, and cultural opportunities. Regular dinner meetings are held once a month, usually on the third Thursday, from September through May at various supper clubs in the area.
CAWC volunteer activities include: Second Hand Rose (summer thrift store), Reading listeners at Crivitz Elementary, Book giveaways at Crivitz Elementary, Kid's Closet at Crivitz Elementary, 4th of July parade, American Red Cross blood drives, Back to School Program (purchase, collect & distribute needed school supplies). Fundraisers include: HarvestFest bake sale, November auction, Second Hand Rose (summer thrift store), Girls' Night Out. The CAWC donates to the following local organizations/causes: CAWC crisis fund, CAWC Back to School Program, CAWC/American Red Cross blood drive, CAWC 2 college scholarships, CAWC book giveaways, Crivitz & Wausaukee/Amberg Food Pantries, Crivitz Area Historical Society, Crivitz & Wausaukee Library Boards, Crivitz & Twin Bridge Rescue Squads, WE Enterprises, Camp Daniel, & other local aid organizations as requested & voted upon.
